TCD Energy's office is just around the corner from Irene's café and many of the staff get their lunch there.

TCD took the opportunity to complete a complimentary energy bill audit for Irene and discovered that she was paying out-of-contract rates, at nearly double the market-rate!

Needless to say, TCD wanted to make sure Irene's sandwiches are feeding the troops for years to come so we switched her to a  new supplier for her electricity.

We also reduced her water bills by £600 pa by switching water suppliers.

Optimus Hotels

Year Joined TCD: 2023

Saving: £31,000

EBRS Recoup: £7,840

Optimus Hotels contacted TCD as they were in the process of taking over a large hotel based in Hoylake.

The electricity and gas supplies had been placed into out-of-contract tariffs and as such any delays in establishing a new supplier and fixed-contract would be extremely costly.

As part of the switching process, TCD calculated the correct Energy Bill Relief Scheme discount that should be applied to the billing account which was much higher than the discount applied by the supplier. TCD was able to lodge a complaint and recover the missed government discount payments.
